Orlando International Airport – BP-439, Landside Terminal Emergency Generator

The $12.8M project entails expanding the emergency power generation capacity and building at the west end of the Landside Terminal.  The scope of work includes the build-out of the existing generator building, the installation of three additional two (2) megawatt generators and associated infrastructure to provide emergency power to the baggage handling systems.  The project also includes providing an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for one elevator in each of the ten major elevator banks (six in the east half of the building, two in the center core and two serving the west half of the building).
